10. ESPERANTE CHALET

Adjacent to Montero House, this was the house of the Ferrol master builder, Manuel Esperante, who emigrated first to Cuba and later to the states of Flo- rida and Lousiana. This is residential architecture, influenced by foreign models, as can be seen in the picturesque finish of the pinnacles, typical of alpine chalets. Equally striking is the balcony on the main façade. It is made from teak, completely lime washed and painted green.
